Department of social work, Jamal Mohamed College and Athma Hospitals, Trichy jointly organised mental health awareness camp at Periyar Nagar, Nagamangalam, Trichy.

A team of psychologists and psychiatric social workers of Athma Hospitals visited the residents of house board units and explained about early identification and early intervention of Mental Illness and Drug Addiction and has done mental health screening.
